The Monster Hunter series is no stranger to partnering with other developers, and we're in the midst of a cooperative three-part event right now. This time around, Capcom turned to Guerrilla Games to put Aloy into Monster Hunter: Wild, known for his recent work on Horizon Zero Dawn.

The first round of content started in November, but on Dec. 13 and Dec. 27, more content would fall. All updates incorporate quests and weapons from the world of Horizon Zero Dawn.

On Dec. 13, you're going to find a search to fight the Stygian Zinogre which happens to be in Monster Hunter: World as of Dec. 5. No one prevents you from unnecessarily training against it. You can gain materials when you complete the crossover quest that can build the Shield-Weaver+ armor for your hunter. You can also upgrade the Stormslinger from the first round of content, making it even more dangerous for all those monsters that you're going to kill.

Don't worry, your Palico wasn't overlooked by Capcom. The Frostclaw α+ Palico armor package, together with the Forgefire α+ Palico gun, can also be made. By equipping them, your cute little buddy will just look like a Horizon Zero Dawn miniature Frostclaw: The Frozen Wilds. This Frostclaw, of course, won't be almost as frightening as those Aloy has to kill.

The next cooperative quest will fall on Dec. 27, including the Banuk α+ armor collection, Aloy's Adept War Bow, some more Palico weapons, and some more pendants.

Check out this trailer that Capcom published today and spoiler alert if you want a good look at all this gear: Aloy battles a Savage Deviljho in this one.

If you want some Horizon Zero Dawn in your Monster Hunter: World, these quests will definitely jump when they come out. This limited time event will disappear on Jan. 9, so don't sleep on it.
