Cauliflower is rich in a nutrient called 'choline', which is essential for brain development, as it helps repair and maintain cell membranes. In a 2004 review, published in the Journal of Neurophysiology, it was found that the presence of choline positively influenced neuronal and cognitive development during the prenatal period.

Artery health

Eating cauliflower may help protect the lining of the arteries. Researchers found that a chemical called 'sulforaphane', naturally present in vegetables such as cauliflower, can stimulate a protein in the body and provide protection to the arteries.

Weight loss

A 2015 study from the TH Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University found that people who ate non-starchy vegetables, such as cauliflower, lost more weight than people who ate vegetables and fruits in general.
